How on earth do the players concentrate through that.

No. The local Imam (hope I've got that right) calling people to prayer. It was so loud, it sounded like it was being played through loudspeakers on the court.

Into a final set tie-break we go but James quickly falls *1-4 behind. hmm

Goes 2-5* down but has just won four points in a row and now has MP at 6-5*. C'mon James!

Much closer this time but James beats Kamke for a third time!

QF: (6) James Ward WR 131 beat (1) Tobias Kamke (GER) WR 80 (CH 64 in 2011) by 6-3 4-6 7-6(8)

SF: (6) James Ward WR 131 v (3) Adrian Mannarino (FRA) WR 91 (CH 49 in 2011)

H2H 1-0 - James won 6-2 6-7(14) 6-4 in the Queen's QFs in 2011

That's weird - the ITF/ATP live score app is saying 8-8?

Now *9-8 to James.

Now says he won it 10-8. confuse

 

Oh well, whatever the case looks like he won. biggrin Cracking result that, saving an MP in the process as well!
