Big win for the boy that, desperately needed it. Hope this is the catalyst for a run this week so that he can at least defend some of those points. Well done, Evo!
Winning is a habit, and Evo certainly got into it this time last year so let's just hope he can get back into it again as the wins have been distinctly lacking for several months. Not sure how much of it's confidence and how much of it's the knee however, hope it's holding up ok.
Odesnik has a pretty healthy lead in the USTA US Open WC Challenge, so has some extra motivation in securing that WC before Aptos. Hopefully Ward can make it 2/2.
Shouldn't James' match have started by now? It seems to have disappeared off the streaming options.
I'm completely confused. According to the World Clock it is now after 1pm in Vancouver; the only match on the livescores is a doubles which was due to start at 12.30 local, yet James (and Dan) are down as 11am starts - but they don't show on the completed matches either.
Edit - I wonder if the ATP schedule has the time wrongly - maybe play started at 11am, and the ITF matches are still playing.

I have now checked out the ITF OOP and there were 2 matches on Centre Court before James. The second one, involving, Timea Babos, is currently 4 - 4. When that is over James will play presumably. Re Evo, the match before his is in the third set currently.
Clear as mud

That's what I've figured, Madeline, from the last few days - the ATP site says all the men's matches start at 11 a.m. even if there are one or two or even three ITF women's matches first - it's nonsense - as you say, PLAY starts at 11 but no the actual men's match. If only the two sides could talk to each other . . .
