That starts on Feb 20th, the week after San Jose?

Any idea what he is doing inbetween the Australian Open and San Jose?

Just checked the calendar, the week before San Jose is a "dead" week with no tournaments because of Davis Cup.

I'm surprised he hasn't entered anywhere the week after the Slam though.

has all the wildcard been allocated? Because there's a chance if he's out early, he may accept a wildcard in San Jose.

He is already in San Jose. Maybe he could get a wildcard for Delray Beach? Or perhaps they just want to work on his serve!

Beck, F.Gonzalez, Hanescu OUT; Vliegen, Schuettler, Saulnier IN

4 More to pull out and Andy gets a seeding. Hopefully Novak and Malisse pull out like they did from San Jose.

I doubt he will be seeded for this one :( Hopefully he'll get a decent draw for once though.

Just interested, when do they decide the seedings? Do they use the ranks from like 3 weeks before or something?

Seedings for a tournament are based on rankings the previous Monday.

Kiefer was also injured during the Davis Cup weekend, but not sure if he still is.

Novak has pulled out. Draw to be made late tonight. Andy is currently 11th highest rank player so very unlikely we will get 3 pull outs in one day.
