Andy's half of the draw.......can see him make it through past Schuettle in 2 , Kiefier in 3 if he plays out of his skin...and could possibly meet Soderling again !!!

Still could have better if he could have been seeded !

I don't really see to much wrong with this draw. He has a match he should win round 1 which is always important and there is a chance keifer will get knocked out Round 1 but even if he doesn't then he has exactly played much tennis this year let alone good tennis and if he cn make it past Kiefer he can beat anyone else in his quarter.

Sanguinetti pulled out so he was the 10th highest ranked player. you mention he didn't get a seeding which is bad but if he had got a seeding of 8 in SAP he would have met Roddick around earlier so it doesn't always work out to bad.

re Kiefer - you don't think reaching the semis of AO was playing good tennis?

Andy should beat him if he plays well. Kiefer always manages to take a set off Federer (last 3 times, all slams I think). He serves big but that normally doesnt trouble Andy too much.

I have just been looking at the Memphis website, and it doesn't seem  to have any livescores. However, it is being televised "regionally the entire week by Time Warner Cable".  Will any of our American-based posters be able to get it?  And if not, are there no American-based betting sites that give livescores and are therefore awake at the appropriate time? All the European ones seem to knock off during the European night.

Tell you what I have been using during the night matches. Apart from here I mean. The ATP updated scores panel actually does change as the games go by... especially when the event is state side.

Yes, it's there now.  They must only show it as the time approaches.  Thank heaven for that - ATP is ok but slow and has no point scoring.

Obviously Kiefer hasnt played yet, but anyone else noticed that every seed iN Andy's half of the draw is out (except for Kiefer who hasnt played) if he could get past R2, he could have another really good week.

Sorry to jump ahead when he hasnt even played his 1st rd match yet but its worth noting.

But sometimes he does better against the seeds than the other players!

Well that's a habit he needs to get out of, there's only 8seeds in a tournament of 32!!!
