Agree with Indiana. It was clearly sensible to keep the roof closed today as the next rain shower never seemed far away. When the did it last week it was wrong.
I'm not too sure about last week. There were showers now and again, and I bet the organisers didn't know how long they'd last. I can understand the decidsion as it takes a good 40 minoutes to resume play.

There was one day when the roof stayed closed despite glorious sunshine.
I was impressed but then again I didn't see the first two sets so perhaps I avoided the worst part. Slightly unfortunate not to break late in the 4th as he played a super point only to miss the forehand down the line on break point, having performed really well in that game. Super serving the previous game to save break points after some poor drop shots got him into trouble. Excellent 4th set tiebreak from Andy apart from the poor lob at 2-0. Ferrer hit some amazing winners, though didn't seem to return as well as I'd expected. Murray's first set percentage rose as the match went on, finishing at 61%.

Tsongas serve is huge so another tough hurdle ahead but you have to be happy its not Nadal. If I get through this week without a heart attack i will be surprised.
I don't know about a heart attack, but after that my blood pressure went through the roof and I had to lie down for a while!
Fourth semi in a row for Andy, and no Rafa. . . I wouldn't talk about Andy's draw opening up when Rafa went out, as he still had what seemed to be the toughest quarter. Now that he has reached the semi though, there should be no mental baggage about playing Jo-Willy - the H2H is 5-1 in Andy's favour, the only time the Frenchman has beaten him was when he was coming back from injury, was therefore unseeded, and ambushed Andy in the first round of the AO and then went on to the final. That doesn't mean it will be an easy match - Jo is having a really good run at the moment, playing well.
Good win. Ferrer is having a strong year (ahead of Andy in the Race). Thought some of the tennis in the latter stages was excellent. Fingers crossed for Tsonga!
TBH Ferrer looked the better player for much of the match. Andy kept sinking back into a very negative position.
Obviously I want Andy to win but the 4th/5th seeding here looked very accurate and I must admit to becoming a Ferrer fan big time - small guy big heart .
Very much looking forward to the semis, I hate to see Nadal out but it does give a new look to the next round.
I didn't see that much of this match as I was utterly engrossed with Jonny Marray's doubles match but from what I saw Ferrer played far better than I ever believed he could on grass but when it counted Andy stood tall and got the job done. Tsonga won't be an easy match but it is one that he should win.
OK Andy, this is your time, but please please don't take 2 sets until you start hitting the freaking ball !
It was an intereresting discovery that trying to play a clay court style match with David Ferrer at Wimbledon was not the way forward, but might have been predicted beforehand ! Andy may also discover "I'm chipping until you miss" might not work with Tsonga if it's one of his "on" days.
So, positivity from the start, eh ?
Anyway, really good match play against Ferrer and good play generally once he started playing "properly".
