ah, thanks for the explanation DavidC. didn't realize george and mate had played that much together (tho i remember oz now).

interesting too about oli's move. fingers crossed for him, as giron is someone whose had alot of recent success away from the jrs.

whoops, meant to say "in and away from the jrs", giron had a 20+ win streak recently. in any event, oli up the early break 3:1.

second set is reverse of the first, this time oli with the break back and hold from 1:4, serving at 3:4 now.

wow, total mirror image, giron with rebreak on BP#3. i suppose he'll now have an easy serve game to take the set, if this twilte zone exact reversal holds.

well, it wasn't *quite* so easy, oli had giron in 15:30 position, but the american does hold for 6:3. eerie set 1/2 similarities.

tres economical, golding takes the break at the first opportunity, serves at 3:1 on the third.
