Just heard Harry Skinner is planning to run the London Marathon in her memory - sponsorship to the children's liver disease charity of which she was patron.
Nice to see the Beeb (news channel) remembering her death a year ago today, reporting on EBAT & featuring a brief interview with Nino. I sincerely hope EBAT manages to find a permanent home soon.

Having just watched the pre-Wimbledon party coverage (I'm shallow, see) there was a very pleasant surprise.
At least three girls from the Elena Baltacha Academy given full Red Carpet access (well, it was a purple carpet, but you get the idea), and WTA CEO STacey Allaster personally manhandling Serena, Maria and many others to ensure they each spent a few minutes talking directly with the girls.
Well done.
It is shocking.....I always thought she was so young and vibrant....so sad for a professional athlete to pass at such a young age.....just so shocking what she was able to achieve while being so hurt, injured and sick through much of her career....and then to die so young is just so heartbreaking....
