Anne K. lost in Q1 to Yung-Jan Chan (TPE), not in FQ to Mattek-Sands (USA).
She thus only accrued one point, not 20. Totals and predicted placement would thus adjust.
Also, this was therefore one round earlier than her seeding, not as per seeding.
Sorry to seem to nitpick after you've just spent days updating table after table. I often go 'number blind' after hours shuffling spreadsheets
Sorry, also, as I don't Twitter, and so couldn't inform you by your more preferred method.
Thanks, I was relying on people here to spot any errors - drawsheets were beginning to swim in front of my eyes, not helped by having a bad summer cold at the moment. I've made the correction so it should be ok now.
Certainly no need to apologise - nit-picking is good, the important thing is for the information to end up being accurate. If I'm ever unhappy about mistakes getting pointed out, it's me I'm unhappy with and in fact it helps a lot to get the mistake corrected before it gets carried forward onto the week 34 sheet!

Hi Steven and many thanks for keeping the rankings spreadsheets updated regularly - I couldn't survive without them! The rise of Heather and Laura is particularly fascinating at the moment. However, they can't be playing the same opponents in the QF in Japan as they beat in the last round! lol
Laura moves up to a new career high 38 in tomorrow's new rankings (the pdf version is already up) and Heather is back up to her career high of 39, which means GB has two players in the WTA top 40 *simultaneously* for the first time since 1986.
N.B. For the 1980s I only know year-end rankings, so 'first time since 1986' is assumed based on Croft 24/Durie 26/Hobbs 40 at the end of 1985 and GB no. 2s at the year-ends following that all being ranked 59 or lower.

Tara has made it into the top 200 today ... except she doesn't think she has.
"Can't believe I'm 200 common break the 200 barrier!!!!! #annoying"
We had this same silliness recently with some journos not treating Heather as in the top 40 until she reached 39.
Would a player also consider that they hadn't broken into the top 5 until they reached no. 4? Or hadn't broken into the top 1 until they were ranked, er, zero?
Professional tennis players - great at tennis, maybe not quite so hot at counting!

Activeboard seems to have completely lost the plot this morning - I posted about Tara once but the post didn't appear on the thread so I tried again. Still no luck, so I checked in another browser and both posts appeared ... until I logged in on the other browser to try to delete one of them, at which point it disappeared!
So it seems that (temporarily, I hope!) you can only see your own recent posts if you are NOT logged in.
I'm pointing this out to try to prevent others posting multiple copies of the same post.

Re Tara and making the top 200, I thought most of us actually thought that the journos had forgotten / never realised that Heather had already made the top 40 LOL
With Tara, I can actually understand that it would be nice to have a ranking that started "1". She hasn't as such said that she hasn't made the top 200, but rather not made it past WR200.
Well done to her anyway, and I am pretty sure she will soon be 1xx.
I did too after you made your last post, but then I deleted my duplicate one and now it's back to showing 21 pages instead of 22 and none of this morning's posts. Let's see if another post tips it over the edge again ...
