Spoke to John and he says that for 3 games on the trot in the final set he never scored a point of the Bellucci serve...but he still hung in there and took his chances when they came !!!
Didn't expect that at all, and that's a fantastic result for him showing that he can compete with the top players, and that should motivate the rest of them to do well and try and match his result.
Does John know how the rest of the British lads are getting on.... actually, looking at the OOP it would just be Boggo as I can't imagine Tipsy is still playing
Boggo is up next John is getting a quick bite to eat then going to watch...he has next to no credit left on his phone so I will phone him for updates up until 1.45pm until I have to go out til 4pm.
If anyone wants to take-up the duty of phoning John then PM me.

WOW. Fantastic win from Dan there! I hope he makes it into the main draw, I'd be interested to watch him play when I go watch it! (Provided he's still in on Wednesday!)
Seriously, though - that was unbelievable. I did expect him to give Bellucci a match, but... I think this was the second best win (in terms of rankings) for any player born in 1990 or later? The only one that comes to my mind is Janowicz's win over Mahut in Wroclow.
Next up is either Andrew Coelho [292] of Australia, or Olivier Charroin [538] of France. Coxy had played Coelho once and beat him in three sets there - in a Futures in Wrexham in August 2006, although Coelho was ranked 'only' 550ish then.
Come on, Boggo!
And I don't know how to thank you three (John, Drew and Josh)!
