I don't know how Boggo managed to lose a set to a doubles specialist who plays mostly on clay, but who cares!

For the record, Coupland is 6' 5'' at the age of 19, and Morgan is 6' 1'' at the age of 15. smile.gif

Amazing win for Cox smile.gif - obviously skewed by the fact that his opponent is probably more like WR 267 than WR 67 on grass, but taking those kind of chances is hugely important and quite often our players don't, and anyway, even beating a WR 267 wouldbe a big deal for Dan at this stage of his career.

Not sure why Boggo made such heavy work of his match, but at least he's through. smile.gif

At least Boggo won, but dropping a set isn't too encouraging against Soares, but hopefully he can build on that win into the 2nd round.

Good reward for qualifying as well, given that 2 qualifiers get Ward and Slabba, while another gets Querrey who has had some shocking results on grass, so plenty of chances for qualifiers to win a match

Morgan lost the 1st 6-2 but has just broken back in the 2nd so 4 all. Smethurst is 3-2 down, but on serve.

Smethurst is doing sort of well, although he got broken just now and Falla will serve for the match. But 7 double faults is not so good. doh.gif

I guess Morgan's absence means he lost the match? Assuming that Josh posted right after he receieved the scores, that should be the case barring a retirement. He impressed in any case!
