GSM Eaton!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Eaton wins 6-4, 7-5

Great win for winning, even though GGL has turned into a supreme mug this year, but as he's still in the top 100 that might be Eaton's best ever win.

He now gets to take on Vinny Ice tomorrow to try and show him that he shouldn't be getting a WC ahead of him.

Excellent win for Chris, the only Brit other than Lee Childs (who qualified) who won a round at Wimby Q last year. Oh how I'd love to see him stuff Spadea ...

All in all, a very good day, the only real low-point being Bloomers' loss/injury.

(turns on the broken record again) If only they were getting ranking points for these wins ...

Doh! ashamed If they're not on the top 25 table any more, they don't count. Er, that's my story and I'm sticking to it ... wink

Would some kind soul care to explain to me why Vince Spadea is referred as "Vinny Ice"?

P.S.  Don't bother with "Vinny"/"Vince".  I understand that, but confuse.gif about the rest...

I think it is just because he likes to portray himself as the coolest guy on the ATP tour, and "Ice" has been used by the R&B artists such as 'Vanilla Ice', hence why it is sometimes used as a suffix to his name.

As James says! smile.gif

Plus, Vince is an enthusiastic rapper himself and performs often to entertain fans and players alike. So people have given him names like "Vinnay Ice" or "Vinny Ice", with references to Vanilla Ice.
