Cox won 7-5 7-6(3)

According to John Dan Evans played the best tennis today...but still lost.

Lame, Dan showing that hes better then his queens performance i guess. and it looks like Arka was right when hes suggested Cox needed to step up. Two really massive performances today. but tomoros another day and hes gonna have to do a repeat.

So if you add both the rankings of his victims today...and double them...its still miles short of Dans ranking....another massive day for him tomorrow !

Great win for Cox, and a fantastic day for him with 2 upset wins over much higher ranked players.

Let's hope Nishikori is so shocked by being the older of the 2 players in a match that he doesn't know what to do!

Dans clay court pratice has hopefully made him have a good defence coz hes gonna need it, did anybody see Keis match against Nadal, my fav of the tournament. Kei was hitting some awesome winners and going toe to toe with Nadal in the ralies and winning quite a few.

Apparently he had a knee injury.
(I hope it not too bad to prevent Wimby Qualies.)

Eaton vs. GGL on the scoreboard now, so Eaton got revenge for the loss as Surbiton over Bamford.

I'm backing Eaton to win this, as GGL didn't look that great against Evans judging by the score, Eaton will have had much more rest, and his serve should take him through the match.

Spadea leads 7-5, *4-3 against Gregorc, and that match plays the winner of this one

Well done to Cox for his two brilliant wins today.

To beat one top 300 players is a mssive achievment but to do it twice on the same day is even better.

sadly don't think he will do well against Kei, who I think is going to be moving rapidly through the rankings, but I hope he will put in a decent performance.

John thought Eaton won in straights over Bammy but not sure.

This is of course assuming that Cox plays the match as a win would clearly prevent him from going for Wimbledon.
