Afterwards Dan told britishtennis.net "Dimitrov's style suited me well, it's easy to get the first strike in the rallies against him and I was able to dictate play. I saw Ricey's rd1 match and to be fair, the other guy was good, very consistent, got a lot of balls back and Ricey didn't play his best."

Great win for Dan & I agree with what he said! He was able to dictate & let his skills do the talking!! Should be another good day for Evo & hopefully Dyce-e can follow his lead!!

You know much about Dycey's opponent goldenslam ? Reckon he has a good chance ? It's gonna be tough as that guy is top 20 ITF and around 1000ish ATP but Dyce could be around that level too if he hadn't been injured so much in the past yr...if he's on form, he can trouble most of the guys here

Where are you heading after USO...going to some tourneys with Willis and Pauffley ?

Dan told me he's playing quite a few futures this autumn which is good....plus some of the top junior tourneys
