I see that Garangaga, one of Graeme Dyce's opponents in the doubles has just retired from his singles match. This could mean more good news is coming our way this evening.

Of course we must not applaud too loudly, that would be unsportsmanlike. biggrin

Well done dan! He gets Ryan Thacher in the 3rd round who is only ranked 262 with a high of 221 but beat 7th ranked Brit Basher Stephane Piro in straights in R2 so is obviously relishing his time at Flushing Meadows. Still a great chance to reach the QF's...

Tough doubles R2 for Dan and Dan but they are a pretty good partnership themselves...
