I couldn't agree more, Madeline. After the disappointments and injuries to players of late, it's good to have Minto back in the fray to share in the burden of expectation we put on our players. Fingers crossed that all goes well for him.
It's not good, is it...he's going to start taking rankings hits now in a big way. If it can't be helped, so be it, but this injury is proving to be a major setback
It's such a shame that whenever we get a Brit doing well along comes some sort of injury. It's a real pity Andy has withdrew from next week but he has to be 100% or he could make the problem much worse and be out the rest of the year. That really would be a big blow for us brit fans. Get well Andy and come back better than ever.
It a shame hes not competing, it will be nearly 4 months since he last competed, so come Montreal hopefully he will shake off the rustiness and get back to business. also his absence makes it very unlikely for him to get to the Masters Cup, which was his aim at the start of the year and was on course to do so before his injuries setback. However, it would take a miracle for him to qualify for the Masters Cup and the way to do so is by winning the USO or getting to the final at least!! Though there always next year or the year after that and.......
