You'd have been very welcome to post it and 'take the credit', especially since I thought I'd pasted it in here already (it's easier to type it into AM.com then paste it here than the other way round, but that only works if I remember to paste it!), but here it is anyway:
Federer-Ferrero
15 BTs & 16 AMs went for Fed, nobody went for Ferrero.
Just to satisfy your curiosity, 1 BT (djmac) & 4 AMs (R Hulse, F Lamb, Wendy & Donna) went for Djokovic. 1 BT (JohnnyLad) & 3 AMs (Allan, AllyB & Sound) went for Gonzo. 1 BT (John) went for Tigger and 1 AM (murraymaniac) went for Dammit Gasquet, a gamble that wasn't all that far from coming off.
2.66 swing to BT if Fed wins (2.22 of which AM can get back if Fed goes on to win the Final), 0 swing if Ferrero wins.
Berdych-Nadal
16 BTs and 13 AMs went for Rafa, nobody went for Berdych.
2 BTs (imoen & John) & 10 AMs (silk, chrissi, Kels, Xenon, SarahWiser. Jambon, Wendy, Murraymaniac, Sound & Donna) went for Andy. 1 AM (shaun) went for Robredo.
5.55 swing to BT if Rafa wins (another 8.44 if he wins the Final), 0 swing if Berdych wins.
So if Fed beats Berdych or Ferrero plays Berdych in the Final, BT will win but it'll be quite close, while if Rafa goes on to win, BT will win by miles.

If the fake lefty beats Fed in the final, would I win outright?
Yes, very well done on 2nd place. I'm afraid Speedy has Rafa beating Fed in the Final too, so if that's what happens, you'll miss out to him by 1 point.

Berdych. Bloody guy can't win when he's supposed to and insists on winning when he should get beat.
Couldnae hae pit it better masel'!
It's like getting an email from my brother who writes like he speaks.
I don't know how we've managed to win this competition this time - it all looked so bad at the start of the week as well. Guess we don't suck that much afterall.
aria81 wrote: It's like getting an email from my brother who writes like he speaks. LOL but the thing is, though you probably don't realise it, you write a bit like I imagine you speak too. Just subtle things like "when he should get beat" (instead of "get beaten") which I like because it reminds me of the way my grandmother used to talk. (it's the Scottishness you share, not the age, obviously LOL)
So it inspired me to dredge up bit of the 'Scottish' I remember from 'the Broons' annuals she used to give me for Christmas. Apologies to everyone who had to put up with it!

Well, the obvious answer is because Andy had to withdraw and there are always more 'heart over head' picks from them than from us. That is, apart our very own John who always picks Andy to beat Tigger in the latest round they can meet in.
In reality, the fact that Andy withdrew only really made a difference to the handful of extra AMs who picked Andy to beat Big Dave in R3 (since most of us had Andy down to win that one too), so Kohli going out in R3 didn't result in that much swing compared to Andy reaching the QFs.
Even if Andy had been able to play and had reached the QFs, it would all have come down to the Andy-Rafa QF, and my head says Rafa would have won that anyway.

We can't end up with a tie for 1st place this time, but what should we do if we get one in future? If I'm going to put a list of top 3s in all these pick 'em competitions on bt.net, it won't really work if we allow ties.
I think the first tiebreak should be number of correct picks then, if they were level on those too, the entrant who got the highest score in R1 (since it takes a fair bit of skill to get picks correct in that round and you only get 1 point for each one in your main total) then, if those were level too, the entrant who got the highest score in R2, and so on.
If two people get exactly the same scores in every round, then one of us should see that possibility a day or two before the Final and ask a tiebreak question, e.g. get the entrants concerned to pick the score in the Final.
It's a good idea to agree on what the tiebreaks will be before a tie actually happens, so what do people think of the suggestion above? Is is ok, or do you have an idea you think is fairer?
I'll post a poll when people have had a chance to give me any other options.

Well, we might have made a very dodgy start, but we ended up beating them by nearly 30x the margin we managed last time!
BritishTennis.net beat AndyMurray.com by an average of 108.39-89.58 points per team member after 55 matches.
Detailed round-by-round results can be found at http://www.britishtennis.net/Competitions.html (I'll create a hall of fame for the top 3 in each competition and put the links to each set of results in there before the number of results links on this page gets too big)
