RE: britishtennis.net v andymurray.com

Just a little warning - AM.com will catch us up by no less than 88 points if Andy wins tomorrow!

Today has been a disaster. I need Ljubicic and Nalbandian to get through to make it semi-respectable prediction wise today because so far I think I called one result right - and that was Fed.

BritishTennis.net lead AndyMurray.com by 2227-2032 after 80 matches.

I have now posted a detailed results update up to the end of R3 at http://www.britishtennis.net/2007mi.htm.

Late review

A late recovery by Ljubo to beat Santoro and an even later straight sets shock win for Nieminen against big Dave have helped seagull and RedCabbage to become the joint highest scorers in R3 with 40 points, i.e. 10/16 picks correct.

seagull is now 1st overall on 102 and RedCabbage is 2nd on 101. ForeverDelayed and top AM team member cazza99 share 3rd on 100.

Yesterday's leaders Aria81 and Guy both drop to 5th= with 97. They've got exactly the same score as each other in every round - well, have you ever seen the two of them in a room together?

In 7th equal are goldfish, Johnnylad (both up 1 on Monday) and me (down 4 ), while there is now a second AM in the top 10 - Allan (up 3) in 10th on 92. AMs Shaun and Vimto are also now in the top 20.

Andy's win cuts our lead almost in half, with probably at least that much swing to come again if Andy can win his next match. He has already completed the very rare feat of reaching the IW semis then surviving until the QFs in Miami. Do you remember the days when we used to worry about his stamina?

The biggest effect though is that AM now have the overall leader, cazza, 3 points ahead of Guy and 4 ahead of Johnnylad, both of whom predicted Andy to win too. Last night's top three, who all predicted an Andy loss (like me ) drop down to 4th-6th.

Detailed results update: http://www.britishtennis.net/2007mi.htm

I hope everyone's cheering for Count Duckula (aka Mr Hingis) - if Robredo wins, our lead will be cut to less than 100 points. Same if Duckboy (are they related?!) wins, though in that case lots of us have picked him, so are entitled to have divided loyalties!

Duckboy beats Ferrer, which means that AM cuts the gap tounder 100 cry- that's 96 points gained by AM on BT today in just two matches.

I assume Josh is doing something more fun so:

BritishTennis.net lead AndyMurray.com by 2491-2392 after 82 matches.
AM's cazza extends her lead to 4. BT's ForeverDelayed is the only person to have got both of today's picks wrong so far and drops from 3rd to 17th. cry

I think calling Stepanek Count Duckula is an insult.

I hope vegetarian vampire ducks all over the world converge on your house and eat all of your carrots as pay back forbeing compared to that ugly so-and-so

I bet "sadly" is a word you never expected to use in a sentence about the Count losing!

We're only 91 ahead now - they've made up 104 points on us today. cry

AM captain Xenon is the only person to get all three right today so far and has jumped from 36= to 5=! Roberta has leapt up the rankings as well. FD is the only player on 0/3. cry

Sheddie has been slipping down the rankings today (as have I), but the other Count has slipped even further.
