I'm happy to play, assuming all the picks are made at the start as for IW (I'm away for part of Miami) but if it is going to be a pick' em competition and you want it to be possible to publish the full results on here, you're going to have to answer THAT email, David!

David did answer 'THAT email' He just only sent it to me. I may be emailing you (both) tomorrow to get more step-by-step instructions but I'll have a go.

Count me in.
I will be away for part of (in fact all of) Miami (I'm going skiing ) though so we need a volunteer or two to take over the updating and doing results.

the running

I'd like to enter a robot entrant for the team: She (Roberta the Robot?) Will always pick the higher ranked player.

I already implemented that earlier today - you'll see what I mean when I put the detailed IW results on the web later tonight.

Definitely not Stephanie the Robot LOL

I'm quite keen on 'Bethan the Bot' but I'll probably get in trouble for that, so Roberta it is!

you wouldn't have gotten into trouble for that...but I may have claimed the robot's points given that she's doing much much better than I am

Well. You'll need to pm Steven your email address (not until the draw comes out) and he'll send you a spreadsheet with the draw in place. Then you make your picks by putting a '1' in the box by whichever player you think will win. Do this for each round and then save the file under a name making it clear who it's from (eg 'Count Zero' or 'Picks for Count Zero'), email the new file to me (it may be someone else this time but whoever it is their email address will be in the spreadsheet so you'll know). Then sit back and watch your score rise (or not depending on your picks).

I'd rather encourage people to try to download it from the link first, because I don't fancy having to send it to 50 people individually, it'll waste too much time! It won't be so bad if it can be sent to 50 people all in one email, but if I do that, spam filters are far more likely to filter it out and the first people to pm me might have a long wait before they can start making their picks.

Obviously, if people can't download it, then I'll email it to them, but I think a lot more people should be able to download it than did so this time. It also means they get it immediately, instead of having to wait for me to log on and read their pm.

David - are we going to let people who don't make it into a team enter too? (I've seen the am.com selection criteria and it seems like quite a few people may miss out) If so,, we're definitely going to need multiple spreadsheet files feeding into one master file that we publish from.
