RE: britishtennis.net v andymurray.com

With all the 1st round matches and t 2nd round matches complete It is 517-450 to bt.net

I did do what i said before: If you picked hewitt you now picked kendrick and if you picked kohls... you now picked falla.

I won't be back untill around 10 now so you won't have any more updates from me unfortunately

count and sheddie are tied in joint 10th

Good good, v healthy 67 point lead !

Blake lost 7-6, 2-6, 6-3 to Serra which has really mucked me up...I had him going to the semis I think

Anyone know how to lock an excel spreadsheet...just trying to update it for the site....sadly steven has left the instructions so incredibly complicated

go to TOOLS, then PROTECTION and then click PROTECT SHEET. You then apply a password and have the choice of limiting what users can do with the sheet.

I heard that sheddie! (don't ask why I'm online, long story)

Those instructions are long because they're step by step and so simple that even a dummy could use them. * hard stare * You're making it complicated - why the hell do you want to lock it??

Real reason I'm annoyed - my 2nd half Finalist, Blake lost, the dingbat!!

Re. the late LL. Just assume that the late LL is the player they are replacing. There's two ways to do that:

1) the simple way - don't change anything, just keep in mind that Kohlschreiber = Falla.

2) the complicated way (just for sheddie) - change Kohlschreiber in R1 (only) to Falla in the master sheet, then copy and paste Falla (+ his nationality) in R1 through to the same cell on every other sheet.

I suggest method 1) - Falla will probably get kod in R2 anyway so after that there'll be no risk of confusion.

Edit: I hadn't realised Kendrick was in for Hewitt too (lucky Andy ) - but you can do that the same way.

BritishTennis.net lead AndyMurray.com by 747-644 after 41 matches.

Our lead has stretched to over 100 (yes, I've got the s/sheet on my laptop here lol)

Does anyone know what sheddie's attempting to do to the poor spreadsheet though? It's just like with his entry for IW - he just has to try to be clever and screw something up.

only 6/9 on R2: Blake, Hbaty and Vliegen letting me down.
Blake was my semi-finalist

Top scorer today is RedCabbage with 23 - as a result, he's up 26 places today at 4th=

Now that the results have become a bit more predictable, KingKong has plummeted to 2nd last.

If he does answer, after I've gone, please just tell him to stop trying to be clever and just follow the steps in the instructions he'll find life so much easier that way! I checked every step last night to make sure I wrote them so even sheddie couldn't mess it up  - what a waste of time that was.

If he has already messed it up, he'll find it 10x quicker to go back to the original sheet I gave him and put the results in again than to try and find a clever way to correct it.

Bring back Bethan, all is forgiven! (not that there was anything to forgive, I hasten to add! )

Seriously though, I'm just trying to save David some grief.
