Yes, I know what you mean. I was so annoyed at Guccione throwing away those two MPs - if he'd taken one, I'd have been top with 11 points, 2 ahead of the 5 people I'm now sharing the lead with. Would have been nice before the inevitable slide! (I'm not very confident about R2 - when I finally finished the spreadsheet two nights ago, I started making my picks at about 4 am, did R1 quite thoroughly then was virtually asleep while doing the rest) - still, at least this way six of us can celebrate being in 1st place.
I imagine the greater depth of knowledge of the men's game here gives us more of an advantage over the AMs in R1 than later on - it'll be interesting to see what happens.

So did I - 16 of us picked Mayer, but 17 of them did.
Once again, they get the win when there's less than 5 entrants worth of disagreement between us (they've won all but once in that case), but we've won all but once when there have been 5 or more entrants worth of disagreement. That's why we're streets ahead of course.
