I'm not doing Cardiff. Won't be able to get time off work for it.

Any tourneys planned in the near future ?

Roberta's already well ensconced in the top half of the field: joint 12th, just 2 behind the leaders!

More worrying is that King Kong's just 2 shots off the lead...it'd be a bit embarassing to lose to the average score of 1 million hairy gorillas !

I'm enjoying being so far up the table with 9/16 so far. I very much doubt I'll stay there though so let me have my fun while it lasts!

Yes, I know what you mean. I was so annoyed at Guccione throwing away those two MPs - if he'd taken one, I'd have been top with 11 points, 2 ahead of the 5 people I'm now sharing the lead with. Would have been nice before the inevitable slide! (I'm not very confident about R2 - when I finally finished the spreadsheet two nights ago, I started making my picks at about 4 am, did R1 quite thoroughly then was virtually asleep while doing the rest) - still, at least this way six of us can celebrate being in 1st place.

I imagine the greater depth of knowledge of the men's game here gives us more of an advantage over the AMs in R1 than later on - it'll be interesting to see what happens.

The RobC kiss of death continues: Mayer defies me and beats my "rising star" pick Kunitsyn 0/1

So did I - 16 of us picked Mayer, but 17 of them did.

Once again, they get the win when there's less than 5 entrants worth of disagreement between us (they've won all but once in that case), but we've won all but once when there have been 5 or more entrants worth of disagreement. That's why we're streets ahead of course.
