...Andy were to lose in the third round? Well. He'd have 1715 points and could be overtaken by: Ferrer (4th round-by mandatory points) and Gasquet (semis). Best case: 14(nc) Worst cse: 16(-2)
...Andy were to lose in the fourth round? He'd have 1755 points and would definitely overtake Berdych. He could overtakeDjokovic (out in 3rd round). He could be overtaken by Ferrer (quarters) and Gasquet (final). Best case: 12(+2) Worst case: 15(-1)
...Andy were to lose in the quarter finals? He'd have 1805 points and could overtake Djokovic (out before quarters). He could be overtaken by Ferrer (semis) and Gasquet (final). Best case: 12(+2) Worst case: 15(-1)
...Andy were to lose in the semi finals? He'd have 1905 points. He'd definitely overtake Ancic. He could overtake Djokovic (out before semis). He could be overtaken by Ferrer (final) and Gasquet (win). Djokovic and Ferrer are drawn to meet in the quarters so either Andy overtakes Djokovic OR Ferrer doesn't overtake so... Best case: 11(+3) Worst case: 13(+1)
...Andy were to lose in the final? He'd have 2030 points. He'd definitely overtake Ancic. He could overtake Nalbandian (out before quarters) and Djokovic (out before final). He could be overtaken by Ferrer (win). Andy would meet Djokovic in the semis, and if Djokovic got that far he'd have taken Ferrer out meaning... Best case: 10(+4) Worst case: 11(+3)
...Andy were to win!? He'd have a very happy group of fans back home and 2180 points. He'd definitely overtake Ancic and Djokovic. He could overtake Haas(out before quarters) and Nalbandian (out before final). Best case: 9(+5) Worst case: 11(+3)
So there you have it.

I realised my mistake! I had rather meanly not given anyone points for a round 1 loss. (I swear when I was creating the table the ATP draw sheet said that too but we'll never know). Thanks madeline, I would've worked it out had I been able to get onto BT.net - any ideas what's up with it? And this message board yesterday?
Have amended the what if post accordingly. (well am about to anyway).

Ferrer handed out a breadstick to Tipsy in the first set. I must say that the ladies' needles have had very poor aim this year: All those seeds knocked out, and only Berdych & Youzhny to show for it where it counts

Well my pins have been working fine, they're just all aimed at Tims competitors, i think you'll find that (assuming Gabashvilli and Tipsy don't stage dramatic comebacks) only Russell has won his match this evening - quite an acheivement in my opinion.
But, the top guys (near Andy) do seem to have found a way to combat the pins so we'll just have to come up with a different method

Now that is a rare statement from me I'm not one of Roddick's biggest fans, except for after-match interviews where he is surely #1.
If Djoko beats Benneteau, and Ferrer beats Moya, we will have a problem. Djoko/Ferrer - who would we most want to win - or least want to win! I suppose at least one of them would "go down".
the updated table is posted here (on Britishtennis.net)
As the bear says, Gasquet and Nalbandian are out, as is Ferreiro: so only Ferrer left behind Andy to worry him, and just Djokovic and Haas left within range ahead.
Nice to see the voodoo finally having some effect, ladies.
Andy, of course, plays Davydenko today. Djokovic plays Benneteau. Andy overtakes if he wins and Nole loses.
Ferrer plays Moya, and can overtake if he wins and Andy loses Haas plays Gonzo.
Unfortunately, I think it would take more than a few pins to stop Djoko beating Benneteau. Maybe I'll concentrate all my efforts on jinxing Davydenko and Ferrer. . .
