Gonzales is through 67 76 63 62 So's Tursunov 57 64 63 64
Hewitt takes the fourth. Looks like Russell's struggling now. Still, at least Lleyton'll be nice and tired for round 2. Soderling takes the third set . Haasgoes 2-0 up

Am I making a dumb error somewhere?
No I am. Thanks for pointing that out. I think by that point my brain was pretty much mush...:

My 'what if' posts have been updated. Everyone who went out has been reduced from bold to normal. The whole of the 'out first round' bit has been 'normalified' (what would you call it?) as it's now irrelevant. Hopefully by the end of the two weeks all but the final will have had the same treatment...
I'm pretty sure all the worst/best cases are the same, to be honest I didn't check. I will check after round 2.

We suddenly have rain delay, so no updates, except for Safin & Sela, who're playing under the roof I guess. Unfortunately Safin pulled back the 4th set, and now leads 3-0 in the fifth.
