Andy Murray may well have lost in the final of his first tournament of the year, but William Hill are expecting a bonanza year from the young Scot and offer 8/13 that Andy Murray will be in the top ten by the end of the year and 6/5 that he fails to do so.
Murray is 40/1 to win the first grand slam of the year and 16/1 to win Wimbledon. He has also been cut from 10/1 to 7/1 favourite to win the BBC Sports Personality of the Year having been well backed over the weekend.
"Andy Murray has a great chance of breaking in to the top ten this year and we already have substantial liabilities for him to win both Wimbledon and the Sports Personality later in the year," said William Hill's spokesman Rupert Adams.
