... and they joined up after Jamie had played with Butorac just once last summer (while he waited for Colin Fleming to re-join him) and beaten Parrott and his old partner. It's very incestuous. lol

The Murrays and Aucks will all be on Wednesday. Aucks' partner Haggard made the San Jose final with Schuettler. Good choice of partner for Aucks, Haggard played really well in the final...I'd say he was the strongest player on court for most of the match.
Yes, and he has set himself mighty high standards by the look of it. But how many players out there would miss the only chance they get to play at home all year long?
Great win for him. I believe that he'll be top 20 by the end of the year.
Del Potro is going to be a great player. I thought he would have made the break-through onto the main-tour a bit earlier last season than he did but once he got there he's made it count. He's got a big chance to be right in the mix at Slams in the next few years.
Pless beats Kunitsyn 3 & 1. The rematch is on.....

Order of play already released for tomorrow (Thursday).
If Andy beats Dancevic tonight, he plays Pless at 3.30pm local time (9.30pm UK time) on Stadium court (although it does say that a court change is possible - ie If Andy loses tonight this match will be on an outside court!!)
A US match not on a night session for Andy - has been a while since that happened!!

His big serve suits faster surfaces so that's probably why he's playing here and not on clay. However, he can mix his game up really well on clay though, took a set off Ferrero at RG last year.
I think that top 20 is asking a bit too much, he's still a bit inconsistent in terms of week in, week out performances; takes a set of an on-form Gonzo and then loses to Alex Waske.
Also, apart from Ginepri and Moya, he hasn't beaten any big top 20 names yet. I think he'll end the year in the top 50, definately a top 15 player of the future

I know that I am too excited by too little at times, but you really take conservativeness to a new level.
He'll most probably crack the top 50 in the next few weeks. Definitely before Hamburg. And as far as long term rankings are concerned, why just top 15? Surely an 18 year old who is inside the top 80 and can beat top players is a real star in the making? I think that he'll be top 5 and will even challenge for Slams in the future.
He hasn't played many top 20 players since getting the 'big break' though. Just Gonzo twice - he took a set off him on indoors, a surface which isn't his best one and then got injured when he was leading two sets to one at the Australian Open and ultimaltely retired in the fifth.
I haven't seen enough of Del Potro to know what to make of his game. When I do see him I'll be looking for mental toughness, variety and evidence of a tactical tennis brain. If he looks like another Roddick then he'll do well but probably not well enough.
