A big group seems to be heading for Central Europe. This begins on the 15th of January and is played on Indoor Carpet.

Main draw:

David Rice.
Josh Milton.
Daniel Evans.

Qualies draw:

James Richardson.

Qualies Alts:

Andrew Fitzpatrick.

Richardson got a Lucky Loser spot and drew and unranked wildcard!

First round:

Milton (twelfth seed) and Rice (eleventh seed) had first round byes.

James Richardson [367] beat Tomas Hruncak [Unr] of Slovakia by 62 63.
Daniel Evans [203] beat Ilya Shatskyi [233] of Russia by 63 62.


Second round:

Richardson's match hasn't been played.

Josh Milton [146] lost to Silvio Dadic [180] of Croatia by 63 61 63.
David Rice [129] beat Karlo Pinatric [179] of Slovenia by 63 64.
Daniel Evans [203] beat fifth seed Mohamed Safwat [92] of Egypt by 61 64.

Awesome result for Dan E against a top 100 opponent. This is the first time he is playing someone ranked so high.

James Richardson [367] lost to Nikita Zotov [68] of Russia by 64 46 62.

Good fight from James against a much superior opponent.



Third round:

David Rice [129] lost to Jiri Kosler [108] of the Czech Republic by 76 46 62.
Daniel Evans [203] beat Artem Baradach [223] of Belarus by 60 46 63.



Quarter final:

Daniel Evans [203] vs. Nikita Zotov [68] of Russia.

Evans lost 3 and 4.
They also lost their doubles quarters.

Evans will be ranked around 155 when the tables are updated.

Evans goes up to 161 from 203.


He should push for a direct entry into Roehampton. US Open is a more possible target, but there's no harm in trying.
