I'm feeling smug again - apologies all. Just Nieminen messing up for me today. Otherwise, all the players I have in the draw did the business. 12 from 15 so far, and Nadal to come: he's 4-1 up.

As one of the bottom feeders Im not going to win but ALL my remaining players except Jarko won some feeling slightly better !!! (Incl Nadal...dont let me down boy)
I'm not surprised that people are doing well in Q4 - 6 seeds left and Ginepri always seemed likely to beat no. 32 seed Almagro. I've got 7/8 left there, I didn't have Chela.
I am surprised that people are doing well in Q1 though, what with Baggy out and Udomchoke & Querrey still left in. I had Melzer to beat Robredo too (a risky one), so I've only got 4/8 left there, compared with 5/8 in each of the middle two quarters.
Btw, Bethan, you're very sweet to be so sympathetic to how much worse I'm doing than last time, but you've given me two points too many again today, using a different method to yesterday - 23+20+18+24 is 85 not 87.
In fact, just to show how lucky I was in the USO, even if I got all the points I could possibly still get from now on, I wouldn't beat my USO total!

that's because I used my written totals from yesterday to calculate the new totals and forgot that I hadn't changed yours there, only on the post here.
As for the top quarter, whilst most didn't get Udomchoke, Ferrero or Querrey nearly all of us got the rest (you seem to be the exception!) Whereas in Q2, Fish and Arthurs weren't really got by anyone and the rest we're all over the place, some getting it right some not. Q3 is pretty dire as well, Mayer/Tursunov.Santoro/Clement/Lapentti/Nalbandian have mucked that one up for most of us. Then back to Q4 and most people are doing well, maybe one or two wrong out of the 8 left. It does vary from person to person and I'm speaking in general terms from what I remember so it could be a lot closer than I'm making out but that's the trend as I see it!

Table up again. Vonce did amazingly well today getting 7/8. Actually, I think there was only one match that was called wrong when both players were correct, so it's more the previous rounds that stopped us getting 100% today! (Steven, you especially I'm afraid!)
As usual any questions I'm happy to answer. One interesting thing was that only one of us predicted a Roddick loss today, i'd have thought we would be more unsure than that.

That makes sense, and ties in with what you said about most people doing ok in Q1 despite it being a disaster for me, Fed and Duckboy aside. I did hope that, as on the Greg Rusedski board, lots of people would pick the nutter to beat the quacker, but you're all obviously far too sensible for that!
I can only get max. 2/4 top half QF-ists now, so I'm going to drop further behind on Sunday. Very well done to Vonce for getting so many right, and having the players still in there in the first place!
Count Duckula was yet another player I picked who managed to thow away a match from a seemingly unassailable position. That's happening a bit too often for my liking this tournament!
It would be quite interesting know tomorrow, when this round's over, how many QF picks each of us still has left.

Have to say, I did think that Ferrer would win so am quite happy with that unassailable lead being lost!
I'll let you know the qf picks thing tomorrow, after the end of round 3.

A pleasant surprise to learn that I have had my highest scoring day. I thought I had picked Hrbaty, but checking my file to see that I ended with Ancic, so a serendipitous gain of 4 points!
It won't last though - I predicted a seed carnage in the bottom half, with Nadal, Nalbandian, Davydenko, Gonzalez, Hewitt and Haas all out in the first week. I therefore await tomorrow with trepidation.
Regarding the question about QFs surviving I still have 3 in the top half (Federer, Gasquet and Roddick) with Berdych, Blake and Murray in the bottom half, if they get through tomorrow
Good luck to all, and thanks again to Bethan for the stats
