All my humanity wants Reynolds to win now - that way both players, the officials, coaches, ball boys, cleaners and the two spectators that must still be there can go home .......
However, I picked Seppi, and Reynolds will overtake Greg if he wins, so if the Aussies want to play tennis till 4am, let them. C'mon Andreas! He who drinks the most Red Bull wins!
The really galling thing is that I turned out to have disagreed with the betting odds for four matches today and got them all wrong! Had I just gone along with the odds for all 32 matches, I'd have got 24-8 too!

Perhaps some of those we fancied to win might have wilted in the heat? .. Benneteau comes to mind as he only won 5 games in the final 3 sets. It all evens out for me though as Nalbandian and Verdasco got lucky after both being 2 sets down.
I had high hopes the crowd might have pulled the aussies Guccione and Luczak through but alas 'twas not to be. I think I might be 23/9 for today, which seems to be quite good.
I'm trying out this format for displaying scores. If it gets too complicated I'll just put up the total. By the way, these are scores out of 64 (32 for each day).
No one got that Soderling would lose to Mayer. I am the only one to correctly guess that Muller would beat Gaudio Only mkkreuk and DavidC got that Kohlschreiber would beat Vliegen We have 3 non-patriots amongst us. RobC, Andyjmr and Akhenaten all went for Lapentti to beat Mackin. How could you? John is the only who got that Capdeville would beat Benneteau. DavidC and myself are the only two to correctly predict a Kuznetsov win over Luczak.
Once again any mistakes let me know and any players/matches you're curious about let me know.

Apparently he lapsed into unconsciousness after the match and all... (read it on the Beeb quotes page). Tipsy was about to beat Nalby as well before he had to retire from the heat so I think it played a huge part today.

i think my day will finish 11/16. Reasonable i think. THe bottom half is going to ruin my chances. I have a lot of players going deep there that are already out and ive mucked up the eight of the draw with mackin/nalbandian etc not getting a single prediction right!
