Dan Cox serves to stary in the match (again) at 5-6 final set,

0-15, 0-30, 0-40 3 MP's

whats happened there???????

Jebavy wins 7-6(4) 2-6 7-5

Seemed really close.

A titanic tussle until that last game

Jebavy has too much in the end

Cox pretty much matches the world junior No3 though!

Encouraging showing

Judging by the stats it would seem Jebavy went for more.

35 winners to Cox's 18 and 54 unforced errors to Cox's 18.

Jebavy won 6 more points than Cox in the whole match...

higher break point conversion ratio than Cox too. 4 out of 7 compared to 5 out of 13.

Great try form Cox.

Might be one of the favourites next year!

My connection failed. Stupid luck, I fell asleep during the first match and now this happens during the second one.

Thanks for all those comments, John. Not much of a difference between Livescoring and reading it.

As far as the match is concerned, the result makes me feel sick. So close... yet it will be taken to be a loss.
Jebavy is a class player though. He won a Grade 1 title on Rebound Ace the week before last, besides being the world number three. And Dan did all this in that mad heat, so I am pretty impressed.

Gastao managed to lose his singles match. So we wouldn't have haad those two playing each other in any case.

On to doubles now. The match will begin after the current match on Court 8 is over.
