RE: Boys: Australian Open Junior Championships 2007.

Daniel Cox/Gastao Elias beat fifth seeds Michal Konecny/Andrej Martin 16 64 64.

Dan and Gastao had to survive a mauling before they showed their true class. They broke first and then conceded six straight games in the first set. Then the recovery started.
I couldnt follow much of the last two sets because I was making lunch for the family.

I hope that they will partner each other whenever they are in the same tournament.

Awesome result against one of the best teams out there.

They'll face each other in R3

According to the stats Cox and Elias lost that first set in just 16 minutes!

What a great comeback having been blown off the court!

The scoreboard was inactive for a few minutes when it was 2-1 to Lazare in the third, so it's possible that Dyce was injured.

Yes, Arka, you were right. He actually suffered a cramp in his right hand.

That's a real shame as he dominated the first set.
Australia is always a tough place for Brits; look at how badly Andy performed even when he was 18. It's mighty impressive of Dan and Dyce to have done this much. And they can do more....

It'll be 5:30 a.m. out here. I gave up sleeping during nights ages ago, so I'll be here.

I can keep a record of the scores; but very often, I go mad while Livescoring Andy or Boggo, so it is possible that I'll not be able to do it if Dan's match becomes very tense.
