RE: Boys: Australian Open Junior Championships 2007.

I fell asleep today.

Dodgy scoreline, but it was a job well done.

It's world number number three Roman Jebavy for Dan in the next round.

Lazare launched a good comeback and took the second in a 'breaker.

Good luck to Dyce for the third.

Dyce lost 62 67 61.

The scoreboard was inactive for a few minutes when it was 2-1 to Lazare in the third, so it's possible that Dyce was injured.

Dyce is defending a lot in doubles this week - 75/4 points. He will need to reach the semis to ensure that his total doesn't decrease.

Dan partners Gastao Elias once again.
Are they good friends by any chance? It'll be cool if they have a healthy rivalry between them, as they could well be playing against each other ten years from now...

They play the fifth seeds in round one.

Dyce goes for Harri Heliovaara once again. They seem to have a good understanding between them themselves.

Dyce/Heliovaara vs. Eysseric/Sessagesimi is seventh up on Court 6, with play starting at 10 a.m.

Cox/Elias vs. Konecny/Martin {fifth seeds} is sixth up on Court 8, with play starting at 10 a.m.

Incredibly tough matches for both teams.

Konecny and Martin have partnered each other regularly and Martin reached the Wimbly doubles final last year. Dan and Gastao will need to play as well as they can to defeat them.

Eysseric is the world number one and in my opinion, the best doubles player out there by a long margin. He already has three Futures doubles titles!! Sessagesimi has a very successful partnership with him.
Dyce beat Eysseric in singles the week before last, so there may be some hope.
