1-0. greg nets and burst into laughter (confused).

2-1 Eng. Jamie and Aucks standing about a foot apart exchanging volleys, J nets.
3-1 Eng. Greg hits it to J's feet, who can only walk back in disgust.
3-2 Eng. ace from ANdy.
4-2 Eng. Out wide from Greg, J's return called long but it can't have been by much.
5-2 Eng, i had a lovely view of two scottish kids during that point so no idea, sorry!
5-3, ENg Aucks goes wide on the return trying to get past Andy.
5-4,Eng super little drop volley from Andy
6-4,Eng Aucks ace.
6-5, Eng mb back. Aucks hits long in the rally, very well called by Andy who made Jamie leave it. Aucks hangs head in espair.
6-6, Andy ace. Crowd quite happy, although they seem to be after a good game of tennis more than anything.
7-6 SCot Greg nets a very tame return off a second serve.
7-7 but makes up for it by hitting an ace.
8-7 Eng, and another I think.
9-7 Eng, great serve from Jamie but Aucks uses it to hit a lovely bh down the line past Andy.
9-8 Eng, ace from Jamie.
2nd serve. 9-9 stunning return from Jamie and Aucks goes long, yells in annoyance.
10-9 Eng, return long from Andy
10-10. Wow. what can I say? the English lads were totally in control of that point, right up until Greg went for too much on the smash and hit it long. lovely point though, full of lobs!
11-10 Scot, unreturnable from Andy. Crowd are particularly happy!
11-11, ace from Greg.
12-11 Scot, Greg nets.
Jamie to serve for it!
GSM Scotland. 13-11 in the CTB.
Jamie hit the serve out wide, Aucks did really well to get it back, ran back onto court only to change direction as Andy hit is behind him. Hit a stunning cross-court shot to Jamie, who hit a sizzling volley to Greg's feet. Greg threw the racket at it but there was nothing he could do, the match was over!
Some really high quality stuff. Aucks and Jamie are both exceptional doubles players.

Aucks and Greg must be gutted especially with that 3rd match point which they should have won from the sound of things...however, a really great effort against the more experienced pairing. Sounds like it was a really high quality match.
I think that the Scots held to 30 in the opening game
The english pair were 30-0 and then 40-30 up on serve but it went to deuce and I've no idea who won that game. The scoreboard isn't showing the score in games
"Disappointed to loose but apart from my first service game i played pretty well and served okay"
me : 'feeling tired' - GR : 'no im fine and looking forward to beating Andy...if Andy will let me (AM 'okay then') - GR : 'better not say that unless we will get into trouble with the bookmakers'
q : 'the 4 on court is the DC team is it not....what do you think?'
GR : 'yeah james and jamie are playing well in doubles and so is andy'

deuce points are sudden death for this match for some reason (to make it go faster I guess!)
Scots leading 3-0, but two games went to deuce, not sure which two.
english girl serving. 0-30, 15-30,

I'm going for England to win this one, Katie is a better doubles player than Bally and she's had a lot of success in doubles this autumn, reaching several finals. I did say a similar thing before the women's singles yesterday and was proved totally wrong but england have only got 1 point so far, surely we'll win another match ?
