RE: Andy Murray vs. Ivan Navarro Pastor

Murray 2-*1

15-0 Great first serve good enough for point from Navarro

15-15 Andy keeps up his awesome returning, straight into the feet of Navarro

30-15 Another great return from Andy, but this time Navarro's volley is better and he gets Murray scrambling and puts away the second volley.

40-15 Andy's return is wide

40-30 Some accurate power hitting from Murray enables him to come to net and finish it off with his first volley

Game Navarro Wow, Navarro is so quick at the net. Murray looks to pass him on 3 or 4 occassions but Navarro stands up to it.

Lol, they're still at 4-1 in the 1st set. Looks like the commentators have dropped off to sleep

15-0 Murray hits the corner with his second shot and comes to net to finish it off

15-15 Unforced error from Murray, his second shot is long.

30-15 Ace

40-15 Ace

40-30 Double fault

Game Murray Good dropshot from Andy brings Navarro to net, and then Murray plays a powerful backhand into his body, which he can only block long.

15-15 Long rally ends with a great change of direction from Murray which forces Navarro to hit long

30-15 Murray's return is wide

40-15 Navarro absolutely unloads with a backhand winner down the line

Game Navarro Murray's return is into the net.

3-3

Sounds like Navarro's volleying superbly at the moment but Murray's putting him under a huge amount of pressure on every service game, surely the Spaniard can't keep that level up at the net for an entire set.

From the commentary, it sounds like Andy's had several shocking calls, maybe that's due to the "weird green-coloured surface" as Andy put it or maybe the line judges are relaxing due to having Hawkeye ?

Are Madrid using the models as ball-girls again this year ?

15-0 Murray's second shot is a winner

30-0 Bit of serve and volley once more, where Andy puts the volley away

30-15 Andy puts a forehand wide

40-15 More serve and volley, once again Andy puts the volley away

40-30 Andy serves and volleys again, but is lobbed by Navarro

Game Murray Rushes the net once more and now leads 4-3

Nah to be honest i have been watching it on sky and its all too easy. Murray has played some delightful touches and lobs. Nvarrow is out of his depth with only a good backhand and a great sense at the net. he stands so close to the net murrya has jus whipped the passing shots at him so he cant return but he is good at the net. i think murrays serve has been outstanding, near 70 percent in and murray has hit MUCH MORE POWER FORM BASSLINE MAYBE ITS THE COURTS BUT i have never seen him hit power shots like that . be finished shortly i think

Lol, do you remember when they started using them a couple of years ago and Agassi suggested that they wore tighter shorts as the ones they were wearing looked a bit difficult to run in
