RE: TMS Paris (Week 44)

Even if Andy could become the 12th seed it would be great as he would not be in 4th group of seeds but in the 3rd group and means he would not have to face the top 4 seeds in the 3rd round. Do the top 16 get a bye again like Madrid?

Draw is out..Andy has a bye then either Chela or Srichaphan then probably Nalbandian.

It's gonna be an interesting week

i doubt rafa will reach the QF

Safin/Clement in the second round, followed by gasquet/wawrinka and then probably blake. All are better carpet players, Safin loves i here, wawrinka is good on carpet and blake has nadal's number.

I wonder if Andy has recovered...

It will be tough for him but given a bit of a rest hopefully he takes his chance here to cement his place in the top 20.

So definitely no wild card for Tim, the third one goes to Gicquel

I don't think he could meet Rafa before the semis - and I VERY much doubt Rafa will get that far! QF, if Andy could get that far, is likely to be Berdych or Ferrer, both in pretty good form.

Perhaps if I start crossing fingers now.....

A Fed/Djoko QF is a pretty tasty prospect if Federer shows up after the hoopla at the DC.

Yeah ur right....trying to read a draw on MTF in one page and flicking here on another via a mobile phone is a tad stupid of me

Takes me all my time to flick from one to another on a computer never mind a mobile phone. . .

Looks like Nalbandian is out so Andy's chances just got a whole lot better!

Yes, replaced in Andy's part of the draw by Hrbaty.

Although the way Nalbandian has been playing recently I would have expected Andy to beat him!

First post updated with that and other withdrawals. They are falling like flies.
