Race to Shanghai

Andy keeps mentioning that he fancies a place at the Masters Cup. I think he's deluded, but he normally does well with his "goals" doesn't he.

I'm gonna start work on a weekly predicted race ranking (unless anyone else already does it?) and try and post it here... gimme a coupla hours...

Quicker than I expected... here's the link:

Spreadsheet

Nothing has changed yet this week tho. Andy needs a SF appearance to better his points total.

Andy's hopes of making Shanghai are pretty much over now unless he has an incredible run through Madrid, Basel and Paris and reaches the final of all three tournaments !

Hopefully he can finish the year in the top 15 though.

I was surprised that he didn't enter an event this week, he could have done well in Stockholm or Vienna, he would have had a good seeding in both tourneys.

Indeed! Hence the spreadsheet didn't get updated!

yeh but he would of had to travelled to europe , and with jet lag and all, you culd say well he was out early but i think its too late in that instance to just enter a tourn just less than a week away.

True, it would have been a long flight from Tokyo to Europe and Andy's said that in future he wants to play tournaments feeling properly prepared, not suffering from jet-lag as in Bangkok.
