ukrainians serving first, their players are Stravoksy (the guy who played greg yesterday) and some other, older bloke.
0-15, missed that point 0-30, excellent return from JD that the U pair (I'm never going to know which one, sorry) sent long 0-40, good little rally from AM after the return.
two break points were saved, one a winner between the two of our guys, one a net from JD on a hard volley.
the third however, was put away and conceeded with a U going long in the rally. We start with a break!
1-0 to GB
By the way, something to note, the Ukrainian guys did not serve volley every point, there was some staying back.

ok, my mistake they haven't broken yet. I thought they were all walking back to the chairs but they wee walking to the umpire to complain. the call was overturned and the Ukrainians won the point.
they then went on to hold from deuce.
Sorry that was a consequence of donig 5 things at once!
1-0 to the Ukrainians, Andy to serve

Andy holds to deuce. the Brit couple are still learning how to play together, there was one volley they both went for (i think it was on JD's 'side' but the camera angle made it hard to tell) and subsequently lost the point.
Another thing to note is that Andy serve-volleyed about 50% of the time, I think he did on all his second serves (don't quote me on that though) and he won the game with an ace and then a lovely volley right onto the sideline.
1-1

older Ukrainian serving. he has a good, dangerous serve.
15-0 ace 30-0 passing winner 30-15, out turn to hit a winner (off JD) 30-30, their turn to both go for the same volley 40-30, ace (that serve sent Andy so far wide he was out completely of the camera shot) game, winner.
so good doubles tennis there, this could turn into a really good match.
2-1

Ukraine break JD's serve to deuce. Sorry I didn't see that game.
3-1 Ukraine.
15-15 on YU's serve. (from now on YU means younger Ukrainian who lost to Greg yesterday, OU older ukrianian who looks like a reasonable doubles player)

when the ukrainians got to 40-30 it looked like they were going to win the game comfortabley, but a double fault and an awesome return winner from our man Murray set up the break point. Unfortunately YU followed with an unreturnable serve. deuce. then a JD volley hit the net and bounced back instead of over, ad U. the exact same thing happens to UO (proof lucky calls/net cords balance themselves out). excellent volley from JD that the Us just can't return. ad GB. JD is playing the ad court and fails to get the return back, commentators say this was due to 'the added pressure of being the ad court man' but I think it was just a great serve and we can't expect all our guys to have the return game of Murray. Ou hits a smash winner. Ad U. JD nets the return, game U. (the U's are employing the I formation of the serve rather a lot. i've never quite understood it myself but there you go, at the beginning of that game it seemed to be distracting YU from his serve as that's when he double faulted sending two very slow, loopy serves into the net, as though he didn't want to hurt his partner.)

15-0...15-15...30-15...40-15...game. nice easy hold there.
OU serving at 4-2.
holds to 30. Andy's looking like he always does when hes losing but they're not doing much wrong, it wasn't even a poor service game they lost they were outplayed. i think YU has the weaker serve of the two U's so he is the one they should be able to break and they'll have at least one more chance to do so this set.

0-15. double 0-30, little jab at JD from the commentator there about him needing to 'make an effective return' uncalled for in my opinion. but he responds well to the critism sending a return that wrong-foots YU and YU nets. 15-30, andy nets a volley that was at his feet, he looks annoyed at himself but that was one even Tim would have sturggled with. 30-30, the Brits get themselves in an uncomfortable position, both at the back of the court with teh Us at the net practising smashes. JD does extremely well to get one back but they have their backs against the wall (literally) so can't move any further back and lose the point after the next. 40-30, Andy nets a return game and first set U, as JD sends a return long.
first set 6-3 to Ukraine.

he definitely looks like a good doubles player.
ok, that time YU(i'm still calling them that as otherwise i have to learn to spell their names) served when i thought it was OU's turn, does it start over at the beginning of each set?
he held anyway, to 30. once again not a bad game from GB just not enough to get the vital break.

0-15, a good exchange at the net but Andy just sends the lob long. 0-30, andy nets a volley. what does this commentator (i can't tell which one it is) have against Jamie? This time he's insulting his serve, which I admit is the weakest one out there but he has by far the weakest singles ranking so you'd expect that and he's defintely playing at 130 doubles rankings level making up for a weak serve with the rest of his game. sorry I just hate the way the commentators latch onto something and can't let it go (bit like me with them 15-30. 30-30 30-40 game U. a long volley rally with all four at the net and unfortunately it's a Brit who nets.
3-0 second set to Ukraine.
