RE: Davis Cup day 1: Murray v Dolgopolov

epic game there. and Andy finally broke to lead 2-1.

Lots of netted balls, from both players, both of whom chastised themselves (commentators warned those who can lip-read not to look at Andy!) in their own ways.

won by murray with the shot of the match (by which I mean the most common shot of the match, not the best) a drop shot no less!

quick love service game for Andy, it took him about a minute, the longest part was bit between points!

3-1

d serving

15-0 andy grows at himself even though there was no way he could have got that
15-15 follows it up with a winner
30-15 a winner from D
30-30, one form Andy.

mor stuff I can't remember (sorry when the game goes to deuce I just can't remember each specific point when I come in here to report).

Andy takes the game on the second or third chance. Andy is really on fire right now, being agressive, hitting the lines, chasing everything down (he's getting to almost all of the drop shots).

Andy leads 3-1.

a tight hold but a hold nonetheless from Andy, he made a few ues and D played some good points so it went to deuce a couple of times.

andy serve-volleyed very effectively that game, four or five times.

d serving. holds to deuce.

andy played a lovely return winner to go 15-30, he made it look effortless and easy!

d showed his talent again, winning the game with a passing winner.

Andrew Castle really dislikes Andy, doesn't he? He's had a few wee digs, and brought up the 'Andrew shouldn't have said about wanting anyone but England to win at the World Cup' Someone want to explain what JOKE means to him?

Andy just won - good stuff. A very professional performance which is all you can ask for. Dolgopolov looks pretty talented, but Andy just had too much for him.

ok. i missed a game somewhere and sorry, anyways, Andy serving for the match at 52.

a couple of great winners from him and some nets from D and he holds to 15 to take the match. At the end of day one, the Brits lead Ukraine 2-0.
