An easy service game to love for Murray - that will be a blessed relief after some gruellers of late.

Ginepri's superior fitness is really starting to tell now, and he slams down two aces to open up a two-game lead. Murray looks a bit like a sitting duck in the American's crosshairs.

Wow, where did that come from. Sudden burst of energy from Andy, a sublime backhand winner and he's back on even terms and back in it at 4-4

Game on !

Murray is showing signs of petulance, scraping his racquet on the court and muttering to himself. But he's digging deep, and gets the game back to deuce. However, an unforced forehand error gives Ginepri the advantage. Ginepri looks to have won it with a backhand lob, but the ball lands just long. Murray then unfurls a stunning backhand winner before Ginepri chips one long to hand Murray the game.

5-4, now. From looking down and out, he's now just one game away from the match

Andy has been out on his feet since the start of the 2nd set, he is digging very very deep right now.


Ginepri is showing signs of frustration.


A fine two hand bh down the line makes it 5-4.


From being dead and buried Andy has a chance.

Murray pulls another rabbit out of the hat, getting a forehand to dip past Ginepri at the net. The British number one has found his second wind and finishes the game off with a languid two-fister down the line. Murray is now one game away from the quarter-finals

Ginepri made a real mess of his last service game, another one like that would be good.


Incredible rally for the first point, desperate defence from Andy for 4 shots then he got a glimer of a chance and took it.
