The person who voted for Andy to win in three, when he was 5-4 up in the third really ought to be ashamed on themselves
I just voted for Andy in 3 a few seconds ago
still taking a chance though......................
I hope you're kidding... should I be worried , anyway, maybe I should have voted for Andy in 2, as that's what a thought it would be before the match... oh well.

A week ago Andy hadn't got beyond the 2nd round of a Masters series event. It is his capacity for making a leap forward and following it up with another step forward, most people wouldn't be able to do that.
Andy did get a fair bit of help in this match. I think Ginepri had mentally writen Andy off and then when the fight back came he got tight and he made a mess of several promising situations. Andy's defence was desperate and relied heavily on his powers of anticipation but he managed to frustrate Ginepri enough to draw errors out of him.
I hope Roddick wins now so that Andy gets an evening match. Not great for live coverage but he really needs the recovery time.
The Roddick match starts at 7:00pm over there, and if it goes to 3 sets the winner of that match may be tired, and if the Q/F then started early, it may not be too bad for Murray ! Although, as the Q/F will be against Murray who was 3rd on court, and the winner of AR/JC who will be 4th, they'll probably be one of the later matches tomorrow.

Oh, okay :-p I thought you were joking, as I didn't think that I would receice a wrist slapping for slightly invalidating the percentage with retrospective voting(!), oh well, at least that's cleared up!
Just seen the commentary, what a nervy match! Hopefully im able to watch the highlights tomorrow! This training boot camp, i hope he doesnt overdo it and run out of energy for the US Open where hes expected to really well!
Statistically it is nonsense that Andy won! Ginepri won more games, and mor epoints and more break points and saved more break points and had a better first service percentage....
Most relevant comment from Ginepri's blog as follows -
"I felt pretty good out there all day today during my match against Andy Murray. It's pretty frustrating to have a match like that in palm of your hand and then to lose out. The way this year's been going, it would've been something to turn things around.
I had to do press, which isn't too fun after a match like that, but you have to do it for the fans. After that we scurried out and headed back to the room for some food."
