Andy obviously lost serve and broke for the set on purpose there, just so he could serve first in the second set...maybe.
Hopefully the second set is more straight-forward and goes Andy's way as well. The beeb said that when Andy broke for 53 N was looking a bit tired, as though the long matches in the earlier rounds had got to him mentally and physically.
Come on Andy!

Andy started the game badly and finished it badly but played brilliantly inbetween.
Both players look to be feeling the pace. There have been a lot of long games with a long points. I don't think there is much Andy can do to quicken the play the main thing would be to keep his concentration.
Interesting situation in the 2nd game. The umpire called out on Niemenen's baseline, Andy challenged at least partly because Niemenen look so surprised but hawkeye agreed with the ump. So it may be possible to bluff an opponent into burning challenges
Andy breaks. Some really fine winners in that game, I think he has the beating of Nieminen if he can keep playing at that kind of level. The problem is that tiredness can lead to loss of concentration.
