Murray 6-7 (3-7) 1-5 Clement There's a glimmer of hope for Murray fans as Clement begins his service game with his first double fault of the match. But it proves a false dawn and the Frenchman goes on to hold.

C serving for the match. (apparently if he wins it will be his first title outside France)
second serve. Andy challenging a baseline call, and challenge upheld. A raises his arms in triumph. 0-15
second serve. 0-30, double fault. Come on Choke!
15-30, goes behind A who can't quite change direction in time.
second serve, 15-40, great approach from Andy sets up the volley winner.
secnd serve, 30-40, ue from Andy, just pushes the winner long, yell at himself for that. real shame, that was a chance, he needs to put it behind him now though.
deuce, serve-volley and punches the volley into the corner for a winner, that was good play by C much as it pains me to say.
ad C, ace...hang on challenged...but more out of desperation I think.
GSM C. A goes long on the return.
Andy's going to look sick as a pig in the trophy ceremony I think!!

David/Peter (which is it?) I don't think it was the heat that was the problem as you suggested. I think in fact that it was a combination of the blister and letting the pain get under his skin and affect concentration and then letting the fact he lost that early lead get into his head as well. I honestly think it was mainly mental, that's the only reason i can see for the difference between the Murray who started the match and the Murray who ended it.

Oh well, good run for Andy, something was up with him though, just have a look at his stats, his serve was better than his normal fare, but his returns were very much below par.
Bring on next week, I'm sure his dissapointment will spur him on
