15-40 2 set points for Andy !!! 30-40 Deuce Ad Murray Game and 1st set !!!! How's Ferrer playing Niall ? Is it struggling to hit through Andy as so many found last week, is he making too many errors or is Andy's shotmaking just too good ?

Ferrer is miss a lot, Andy is missing a bit but he is also hitting winners and he is managing to frustrate Ferrer by moving him arround and mixing up the pace and spin etc.

Also Andy is serving and returning better so he is getting the first strike in most rallys and he is not doing anything stupid like attempting a drop shot.

Sounds great. That's been one of Gilbert's first moves, cutting down the drop shots which Andy plays which is a great move, he was hitting so, so many and it was so predictable

Niall, would you say that the Andy you've seen in the past couple of weeks is a more aggressive player than pre-Gilbert ? Is he really attacking and looking to take on the mid-court ball instead of just rallying ?

Yes - another break! Come on, Andy, don't let him back in the match!

Suppose we can take a breather now, and allow andy to experiment some shots! How was your holiday Madeline?

Fine, thanks, but a pain following Andy on Swiss teletext!

He had me worried that game. My cushions are NOT safe.

A smash into the bottom of the net from Ferrer - that's club-player stuff. He really must be rusty, he's only been out of action for a week though !!! Didn't think that'd be a problem for a pro but obviously so.

30-30 on the Ferrer serve

What was Swiss Teletext like for Andy matches, Mad ?

Andy serving:

15-0

30-0

40-0

I think it's fair to say that we will be following Murray v Henman: The Rematch, tomorrow evening

6-2, 5-0

That's 9 games in a row since 2-2 in the 1st set. Ferrer is apparently chucking his racket about in a huff

5-0 Murray

What a winner. Ferrer hit a good appoach shot into Andy's fh corner and followed it in, Andy ran onto the ball and hit it strait up the line into the opposite corner. I think it is safe to say he his feeling confident.
