Just noticed, Andy's had 11 bps so far !

15-15 on Ferrer's serve

A break here at the start of the 2nd and Ferrer might just throw in the towel

Is anyone else concerned that this seems to be too easy at the moment? I mean Ferrer has got to come back into it at one point I guess...

Ferrer is miss a lot, Andy is missing a bit but he is also hitting winners and he is managing to frustrate Ferrer by moving him arround and mixing up the pace and spin etc.


Also Andy is serving and returning better so he is getting the first strike in most rallys and he is not doing anything stupid like attempting a drop shot.

Moya v Gremelmayr will be an interesting match, the German is ranked 120 but is fast-improving he made an ATP quarter-final on clay two weeks ago and rd3 in Washington last week losing to Hewitt.

Niemenen is the main threat in the draw now for Tim/Andy. Would still be confident of either beating him

I am a bit, hope that Andy doesn't take his foot off the gas like in Barcelona earlier this year when he was also up a set and a break

Fine returning got Andy the upper hand in most rallys and after a bit of back and forth Ferrer coughed up the errors.


Ferrer just attempted a smash and hit the base of the net.
