RE: TMS Toronto: Murray v Ferrer

Break point to Ferrer and what do you know a drop shot, Ferrer was onto it nice and quick and he stays in the match.

Apparently Ferrer raised his level in that last game. Andy played a drop shot on break point

Niall, would you say that the Andy you've seen in the past couple of weeks is a more aggressive player than pre-Gilbert ? Is he really attacking and looking to take on the mid-court ball instead of just rallying ?

I was very impressed with Andy aggainst Tursanov. He hit the ball hard at the corners and was allways asking questions of the Russian.

He started in the same vein aggainst Clement, then the errors crept in and got more and more frequent.

This match has been a mixed bag. Andy has hit too many shots at the middle of the court for my liking but Ferrer hasn't been able to create anything (until recently) and Andy has been pretty clynical when he has had the chance.

3 games in a row for Ferrer. BG is not impressed.

Andy started the game by framing two ground strokes.

Ace Andy

Nooo. Fine winner from Ferrer.

And he breaks again and suddenly he is lot quicker and he is hitting the ball twice as hard.

BG is clapping his hands and trying to encourage Andy a bit.
