Because the entry list is what it says it is - a list of the players who have entered! For a grand slam that is usually just a list of the top players list 6 weeks before the event, which is when entries have to be in.
To see who will be seeded look at the top 32 on the ATP list, delete those who have withdrawn (3 at the moment) and substitute the next ones on the list.
Each player will receive two challenges per set to review line calls.
If the player is correct with a challenge, then the player retains the same number of challenges.
If the player is incorrect with a challenge, then one of his/her challenges is lost.
During a tie-break game in any set, each player will receive one additional challenge.
Challenges may not be carried over from one set to another.
Is this only applicable to Stadium courts? If so its a bit unfair on lower ranked, lesser known or less liked players who won't get a chance to challenge calls on their courts.
First post updated after another withdrawal, by Stepanek. He was above Andy so that moves him up to seed no 18. We need another 2 withdrawals of those above him to get him into the top 16, which I think would mean it would be another round later before he met any of the top seeds.
I keep hearing rumours that Ancic will withdraw, but it isn't official yet. If that happens it would mean only 1 to go. . .
