Thanks Bethan for the fantastic commentary, really brought the match to life !!!!

no problem, if its shown and if I can have control of the tv at 8pm I do it again tomorrow. It seems only fair when the same has been done for me!

Sorry I wasn't able to give game by game commentary, but overall, Andy played fantastic, and to get back into the second set in the way he did was very impressive.  If he can put in a similar performance tomorrow, it's hard to see past him for the title.

I was really impressed. One blip but he got over it but for the most part he played brilliantly. I was so impressed with his movement in the match - he tormented Tursonov with making the guy continually hit one more shot. It was very impressive.

Serve still needs a bit of work - but the returning stats on the match are something special.

If he plays that well tomorrow, he should win but I doubt it'll be that simple.

He will play Arnaud Clement who beat Marat Safin 7-6 7-6 in the other semi-final. Murray has played Clement once before at the US Open second round which Murray lost in five sets, although he went 2 sets down before coming back to 2 all but ran out of mental/physical energy and lost the final set 6-0 (this was after a long stint in america and qualifying for the US open itself due to an LTA issue).

The match will be played at 8pm tonight 6th August (I believe). I'm not sure if it will be on Eurosport or BBC as 8pm is a busy time schedule-wise. I'm hoping for BBCi as I don't have Eurosport.

The final was meant to be on British Eurosport 2, but after Murray won, they said it was likely that the match would be moved to British Eurosport.  Looking at the schedule for tomorrow night, BBC have the first episodes of 2 new documentaries from 8pm-10pm, and I can't see those being moved, and with British Eurosport showing the final, I don't think it'll be on BBCi, although, it would be nice if they did put it on their interactive service.

Yah!!

I really didn't think Andy would beat Tursunov.  That's a marvellous result.

And getting Clement in the final is surely a result too.  Could've been Hewitt, Blake or Safin.

Good luck Andy.

Watching Andy last night it was clear that Brad has already had a big effect on his game. His body language was much more positive than we are used to seeing and his concertration and focus seemed to be much higher (after one poor attempt at the drop shot he gave up on it). He played the match like someone who knew that his every mistake was going to be bought up by his coach and that too many sloppy points would see him get his ass kicked even if he won the match. Brad has obviously set the bar very high and for the moment his pupil looks desperate to impress. Long may it continue.
