Andy breaks to love !!!

Superb, he hasn't been broken yet in this match which is great. Apparently Gilbert spent a lot of time in Los Angeles with Andy last week, working on his serve and also attacking short balls more.

Just got in, looks like great stuff from Andy. I was a little worried earlier as yesterday Delgado had been serving massive - he powered down 18 aces. Luckily he doesn't appear to be doing that today. I watched his match against Henman at Queens and Delgado was a bit erratic and didn't really have that much from the baseline

Its a lot tighter than the score suggests. Delgado is pressurising the murray serve quite a lot. but andy is getting the job done....

Delgado stops a run of 7 straight points for murray. 15-15 on the Scots serve. 6-4 *1-0

Yes.....this might go very quickly now....

On the Tursunov front, I don't know, Tim had not played for over a month....normally he comes out slow after a break and it was hot yesterday too.  I don't know how long he was in DC before his match.  Also, I am always filled with fear when I see that Tim has been drawn against someone ranked 100 or 200+ in the world....lol....I expect a different Tim come Thursday.

30-15 Andy

30-15 to Andy now

Only 50% 1st serves but he's winning 84% of points when he gets the 1st serve in which is massively important

Slightly bizarrely, Andy's winning more points on Delgado's 2nd serve than his 1st !

You mean the other way round...Andy's winning more points on Delgado's 1st serve than his 2nd!

Yeh that is quite strange...

Delgado joins in with a double fault

30-30

but delgado manages to get through and holds 6-4 *2-1
