For completeness I think we should have a thread about the mixed doubles. I don't know much about the other three players but as always go Andy.

Andy and Kristen took the first set 6-4 in 25 minutes.


Another set just like that one would be nice.

Murray/Flipkens were 2-1 down in the second set but they just broke back to take it back on serve - 2-1

2-1 to the Swedes, on serve.


Murray and the female Swede have been broken. Andy really struggled to find a first serve in that game, he will need to do better tomorrow.

Flipkens was a a great Belgian junior a few years back but has failed to make her mark on the main tour. She won junior wimbledon & us open a few years back. She has started to get there though qualifying for her first grand slam last month at roland garros and reaching the second round. good team mate i think

Kristen Flipkens, she is from Belgium, she is little but she has a pretty decent serve.

flipkens was also ITF Junior World Champion in 2003 aswell. quite impressive

Some fine play from Murray and flipkens (and lindstedt & arvidsson as well) and its goes to deuce for a 6th time (???) but the swedes eventually hold!

Arvidsson lost her serve again, good two hand bh down the line from Andy to finish it.

Niall - the female swede would be ARvidsson (i think it would be sophie/a arvidsson though that could be my memory confusing me). Im too lazy to check.
