great win by andy, i though DT would be tougher, he seemed top get a good handle on the serve, such s shame al couldnt make it past max otherwise we'd be garunteed a brit in the qf's.

Nice work Andy - helped out a little by Dmitri's erratic ground strokes in the second admittedly but he managed not to get broken (which is a nice change) and seemed to be playing some good tennis.
Mirnyi will be tough, but it's a very winnable match. :)
Hmmm, Alex Bogdanovic did manage to get one set off him, so maybe the next opponent might be ok (this is based on Alex not being much near Andy's class)

Just in from a hard day's work, and came straight to this board, cos' I couldn't face the BBC one should Andy lose.... and I didnt need to worry Hurra' well done Andy, when you lose so many first round matches, it can be hard to maintain your equilibrium... congratulations to all who kept the faith !!
Even if he has to pull out because of the ankle this was an excellent week for Andy. Winning a match (on grass) should remind him that he can and hopefully bode well for Wimbledon.
I really hope the press doesn't blow it out of proportion and expect him to win the thing now though.
