And the girls bow out, with Dani losing 3-6 3-6

As expected, but still a bit of a shame she gave away some loose points when she really needed to make Jana wobble - which she wasn't far from doing

After the breakpoint CD referred to (took a swipe on return at her first breakpoint, without getting into A1 position) Jana immediately broke and held her subsequent services to win 6-3 6-3. Therefore Czechia reach the final against Japan or Ukraine (Japan won the opening singles) and we play the loser for bronze.
