A top tier event in Japan, and Rosie Cho has successfully negotiated qualifying after her semi in Miki  Her round 1 opponent has though recently won J100 and J200 events.

It was too big an ask of Rosie, who lost in three sets

But Ophelia got a win over the wildcard
